Bayside’s history began in 1989, when owners Tony Ridgway and Sukie Honeycutt were approached by the Lutgert Companies, developers of The Village on Venetian Bay, to open a waterfront restaurant on the Village’s south side. Bayside Seafood Grill & Bar opened in October of 1990, and quickly became one of Naples’ premier restaurants.
Bayside’s ambience is inspired by the pastel hues and iconic imagery of a seaside cottage. The panoramas, stunning as always, can be seen from any table both upstairs and downstairs.
Bayside has been managed by John Everding for the past 14 years. As Bayside’s managing partner, John is “the face” of the restaurant in the Naples community, well-regarded for anticipating customers wishes, and ensuring an unforgettable dining experience.
The Cafe, located on the first level, is open 4-10p.m. daily and offers both dinner entrees and lighter fare for small appetites. The Grill and Upper Deck Bar, located on the upper level, are open 11:30a.m.-2p.m. for lunch, and 5:30p.m.-9:30p.m. for dinner.
